BOARDING TIME: Boarding will begin 10 minutes before departure time.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS: Due to the Sheepshead Bay Pier design, our vessel is not handicap accessible. If you have mobility restrictions please call ahead so that we can advise what accommodations we may be able to offer for boarding the vessel.

ALCOHOL POLICY: Alcohol is prohibited aboard except for designated private charters.

WEATHER POLICY: Cruise may be cancelled in cases of severe weather. Tours usually run in light rain and other moderate weather conditions, but we may cancel a cruise in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. If we are forced to cancel the cruise, ticket-holders will be issued a gift card for a future event. It is up to the Captain’s discretion to determine if a cruise will be cancelled. If the cruise goes as scheduled in light rain and you choose not to attend you forfeit your spot.

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE: Once purchased, tickets cannot be refunded. You may reschedule your cruise if you contact our office 24 hours prior to the cruise date.

WHAT TO WEAR: We recommend dressing for the day’s weather since we are an open-deck, canopy-covered boat and there is no interior seating. (i.e., hat, sunglasses, sunscreen on warmer days and a light-jacket/layers, hat and scarf on cooler days) Shoes or sandals are required. Life jackets available on board for anyone desiring to wear one.

WHAT TO BRING (or not bring!): Feel free to bring a picnic lunch or snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase on our boat, cash and credit are accepted. A camera & binoculars are highly recommended! Passengers who wish to listen to music must wear in-ear speakers or headphones with their devices to allow everyone an enjoyable cruise.

PARKING: There is free street parking along Emmons Avenue but be aware that the spots are usually in high demand so make sure to arrive early. We cannot hold the boat if you are running late or searching for parking.

COMMENTARY: The Captain and crew members provide commentary throughout the boat tour. Please avoid loud conversations during the commentary.
There is no commentary on private charters unless requested by the charter party event organizer. Our crew is happy to point out sights and answer any questions during the trip.

TRIP ROUTE: Public day trips will bring passengers from Sheepshead Bay, around Kingsboro Community College at Manhattan Beach and along the Coney Island shoreline to Steeplechase Fishing Pier and then into Jamaica Bay before returning to the Sheepshead Bay Pier. If weather conditions do not allow for this route, the Captain may decide to take a sheltered route within Jamaica Bay for the entire trip.

REST ROOM: There is a small restroom aboard the boat. Please make sure that no foreign objects or paper towels or sanitary napkins are flushed as this will jam the toilet.
