Enjoy a lovely private cruise from Coney Island!
The Nellie Bly is a historic vessel built in 1944 and is one of the oldest running wooden passenger boats in the country, certified and inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard.
She is in pristine condition and much loved. She resides in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, providing enjoyment and education to new passengers each season.
Boarding Time: Boarding will begin 10 minutes before departure time.
What to bring on our Private Hourly Charter:
- Feel free to bring a picnic lunch or snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase on our boat, cash and credit are accepted.
- A camera & binoculars are highly recommended!
- We recommend dressing for the day’s weather since we are an open-deck, canopy-covered boat and there is no interior seating. (i.e., hat, sunglasses, sunscreen on warmer days and a light-jacket/layers, hat and scarf on cooler days)
- Shoes or sandals are required.
- Life jackets available on board for anyone desiring to wear one.
- Passengers who wish to listen to music must wear in-ear speakers or headphones with their devices to allow everyone an enjoyable cruise.
Parking: There is free street parking along Emmons Avenue, but be aware that the spots are usually in high demand, so make sure to arrive early. We cannot hold the boat if you are running late or searching for parking.
