Our tours cover the entirety of Brooklyn’s fascinating and historic southern waterfront.

Our tours generally include Sheepshead Bay, Floyd Bennett Field, Jamaica Bay, and Lower New York Bay along the coastlines of Manhattan Beach, Brighton Beach, Coney Island and Seagate.
Please note that depending on local weather conditions your boat captain might occasionally alter the tour route. -
That’s right – we are not your run of the mill tourist boat. On our cruises you will learn about the fascinating history of the waterfront you are sailing upon.

Tours are approximately 2 hours long and are offered Saturday and Sundays from 11am to 1pm, and again from 2pm to 4pm.
All tours depart from Pier 2, Emmons Avenue in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. -
The Nellie Bly is a historic vessel built in 1944 and is one of the oldest running wooden passenger boats in the country, certified and inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard.
She is in pristine condition and much loved. She resides in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, providing enjoyment and education to new passengers each season. -
Nellie Bly is 50 feet long.
She is inspected and certified by the U.S. Coast Guard to carry 49 passengers. -
Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted on the boat. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be sold aboard the boat during the cruise.

Our cruises are for ages 5 and up.

Life jackets are available for all passengers.
Our vessel is very stable but if a passenger wants to wear a life jacket throughout their journey they may do so. -
We are located at Pier 9 in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn – directly across the street from Randazzo’s Clam Bar at the foot of East 21st ST and Emmons Avenue.
We are a short walk from the Sheepshead Bay Station (take the B or Q train).

Please be on time because tours generally depart on time. If you are a few moments late you can call the tour guide to see if the boat has departed: 973.379.8180
If the boat has departed we will work to accommodate for the next departure time. -
All ticket sales are final, but you can amend the date and time of your cruise by contacting our office at least at least 24 hours before your departure time.
Note: All tickets are fully refundable if a cruise is canceled due to inclement weather. -

The vessel is equipped with awnings and will travel in light to moderate rain conditions.
However, tours may be canceled due to heavy rain or heavy winds.
In the event of a cancelation tickets are fully refundable. -
